Martial Arts: Children will enjoy learning the facets of Tae Kwon Do, Karate and other Martial Arts. We teach many types of Martial Arts, from all around the world. Students can elect to train in different styles, or concentrate on getting better at their regular system if they are currently a student.
Self Defense: Children will learn how to protect themselves verbally and physically.
Chanbara: (Specialty Padded Sword Program): Children will learn the techniques of the Samuari by practicing drills and playing fun games. This is a great team building experience too!
Life Lessons: Our life lessons component is central to our philosophy and concentrates on building life skills including courage, perseverance, self esteem, self control, self discipline and other important characteristics. Many of our lessons use story telling to set the tone and generate discussion, and helps students further understand and embrace these attributes. Coloring, word and other games are part of this experience.
Korean and Japanese Language Program: Children learn how to write their name and understand and speak key phrases of these languages.
Loads of Fun! Obstacle courses, dodge ball, tag and man other fun games and drills will be a major part of every day at ECMA Summer Camp. ECMA’s focus on gaming is just one more way that we keep kids off the couch and as active as they can be. And, under the supervision of our staff, children get a better understanding of timing, sportsmanship, coordination, team building and the physical skills needed to excel in all aspects of life.

For children with an interest in fantasy
and creativity, ECMA offers WarriorSport, a program that combines martial arts teachings with supervised play where children act out the adventures of their favorite heroes and superheros. Here are WarriorSport games that participants might play.
The Trojan War: Relive one of the most legendary battles from ancient history! Become a mythic hero like Achilles or Ajax and storm the walls of Troy, using ancient Greek weapons like the shield and spear. Or be a brave Trojan and defend your city from the invading Greek armies, using your swords, catapults and bows to keep them at bay.
Jedi Knight: Be a Jedi Knight like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, Adi Gallia, Mace Windu or Luke Skywalker in all out Star Wars battles. Fight the lords of the dark side and face off against Darth Maul, the evil Count Dooku, and dark lord puppets General Grievous, Boba Fett and the army of the clones.
Dragon’s Lair: Warriors travel from across the sea on a quest to snatch the king’s treasure. They will return to their kingdoms as heroes if they can get past the dragon (played by an instructor). Student warriors wield nothing but a (padded) sword and a heart of courage, and must work as a team to be victorious.
Battle for the Black Pearl: it’s the Jolly Roger vs. the Black Pearl in an all out battle for supremacy of the high seas. Kids will face buccaneers, bandits and a cannon!
Samurai vs. Ninja: Who will you be? A powerful samurai, who has dedicated his life to mastering the sword and becoming a fearless warrior? Or will you be a ninja, cunning and stealthy, who uses tricks, spells and exotic weapons. You choose your destiny.
The Four Horsemen: Two teams face each other to do battle but battle escalates when the four horsemen, silent and sleeping for the past century, are brought to life by the sound of battle. Only a precise attack will send them back into their slumber.
